The 2015 Gentlemen of Horror

The following Gentlemen will be contributing to
The Gentlemen of Horror 2015

John H. Howard

John H. Howard was born in Springfield, Ohio, where he learned a love of books at an early age. After earning his BA in English at Wittenberg University and attending the Denver Publishing Institute, he went on to work in multiple fields that had absolutely nothing to do with English or publishing. He has lived in Ohio, New York, and New Hampshire. He currently resides in Dayton, Ohio and works from home as a quality control editor for a national medical transcription company.

A member of the Horror Society, John is inspired by mythology, folklore, urban legends, and real life ghost stories and will write just about anything that comes to mind. His published works include "Cry of the Banshee" in the "Tomes of Distant Realms" fantasy anthology, "Mrs. Culling's Reformatorium for Wayward Children" in the "Twisted" fairy tale anthology, and both “The Goblin Lantern” and “Obsidian” in The Ladies and Gentlemen of Fantasy 2014. His story “Moonville” is scheduled to be released in February in the horror anthology “Forgotten Places: The Best of the Horror Society.”

John is grateful to Jennifer Miller for allowing him to stretch his legs in the horror genre. He also would like to thank his better half, Melanie, who fully encourages his writing insanity. Finally, John is blessed with two amazing daughters, Kaitlyn and Sarah, who inspire him every day to be the best person and father he can be and who may one day be allowed to read his works. Erich A. Johnson

Born and raised in the heart of Maryland, Erich A. Johnson spent most of his childhood bouncing between beaches and barns. He fell in love with books at an early age, from Dr. Seuss as a toddler to his recent fixations on Ernest Hemingway and Stephen King, discovering a bevy of styles and stories that all influence his writing today.

Even at a young age, Erich had a love for story telling, and has been putting them to paper since he was a child. He looks forward to his second publication with the Ladies and Gentlemen of Horror after having his first fantasy publication featured with the Ladies and Gentlemen of Fantasy 2014.

When he's not enjoying the tranquility of the Atlantic coast in Ocean City, he can be found in the local pubs and bars of beautiful and historic downtown Annapolis, where'd he's always willing to share a toast and a story.
