John H. Howard
John H. Howard was born in Springfield, Ohio, where he was instilled with a love of reading at an early age on his mother’s lap. After earning his BA in English at Wittenberg University and attending the Denver Publishing Institute, he went on to work in multiple fields that had absolutely nothing to do with English or publishing. He has lived in Ohio, New York, and New Hampshire and now currently resides in Dayton, Ohio where he works from home as a medical transcriptionist.

A member of the Horror Society as well as Fiction Foundry, John is inspired by mythology, folklore, urban legends, and real life ghost stories and will write almost anything that comes to mind. His published works of horror include "Mrs. Culling's Reformatorium for Wayward Children" in both the "Twisted" fairy tale anthology and the Fiction Foundry “One” anthology, “Moonville” in “Forgotten Places: The Best of the Horror Society,” and “Effigy” in Ladies and Gentlemen of Horror 2015. His published works of fantasy include "Cry of the Banshee" in the "Tomes of Distant Realms" anthology and both “The Goblin Lantern” and “Obsidian” in The Ladies and Gentlemen of Fantasy 2014. He is currently working on several projects for anthologies as well as self-publication.

John is grateful to Jennifer Miller for once again involving him in her esteemed project and allowing him to contribute to her effort to helping find a cure for cancer, as it is a cause close to his heart. He also would like to thank his incredible wife, Melanie, who keeps him grounded while fully encouraging his insanity. Finally, John is blessed with two wonderful daughters, Kaitlyn and Sarah, who inspire him every day to be the best person and father he can be and who may one day be allowed to read his works. Arjay Murray
Born and raised in a small town in western Pennsylvania, and having found comfort in his own company, a young Arjay Murray yearned for the adventures, wonder, and fright to be found in tales of fantasy, darkness, horror, and the strange.
Through years of submersion in written stories, films, music, and art, he discovered his fill had not been had, and the monsters he sought could not be found in what already existed.
Inspired by the works of literary legends Edgar Allan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, Robert W. Chambers, and Neil Gaiman, of artistic geniuses Zdzislaw Beksinki, Chris Mars, and H.R. Giger, and of dark ambient masters Lustmord, Vestigial, and Sephiroth, Arjay began creating his pantheon of anti-gods, the creatures that crawl and dwell within and emerge from canvas, paper, and music.
Arjay has since had paintings featured on The Keynote Cafe, an art gallery and performance center in Jeannette, Pennsylvania, has written and published the strange dark fantasy adventure, Lufer-Ma'ar and the Otherworld, and written, produced, and released the dark ambient album, Alive in the Crematory by Apex Infernal.
Grigori T. Cross
Grigori T. Cross was born in northern California, the son of an electronics engineer and an elementary school teacher. Attracted to the arts at an early age, he had dabbled in writing, music, painting, and the theatre before he reached the age of ten. His adolescence was marked by the discoveries of heavy metal music and horror in writing and cinema. and these would serve as inspirational catalysts for him to begin his own creative work while he studied philosophy at U.C. Berkeley.
When he is not daydreaming about philosophical problems in epistemology, Mr. Cross spends his time composing music, writing first drafts of reflective essays, authoring fiction, creating YouTube videos, and entertaining friends and family. He can be found on YouTube at:

Erich A. Johnson
Alex S. Johnson
Born and raised in the heart of Maryland, Erich A. Johnson spent most of his childhood bouncing between beaches and barns. He fell in love with books at an early age, a childhood that started with Doctor Seuss and Roald Dahl leading him down a road of everything from Ernest Hemingway and Oliver Wilde to Mark Twain and Stephen King, discovering a bevy of styles and stories that all influence his writing today.

Even at a young age, Erich had a love for story telling, and has been putting them to paper since he was a child. "The Mountain" will be his third publication with the Ladies and Gentlemen of Horror as he continues to work on his first full-length novel publication.

Recently relocating from the cool serenity of the Atlantic coast to the red stone mountains of the great southwest, he has found a new creative love in the scenic summer nights of beautiful Phoenix, always searching for new stories and new adventures.
Alex S. Johnson is the author of such books as The Doom Hippies, Doctor Flesh: Director's Cut, Skeleton Kiss and Flowers of Doom. His work falls between the genres of horror, Bizarro, dark fantasy and the completely incalculable.
